We have a partnership with ON THE ROAD IN CHIANTI , a young company founded with the aim to unveil to tourists and nature lovers a unique region, with its famous hills, and getting immersed in its extraordinary landscapes, allowing them to fully enjoy the sounds, the scents and the fascinating appeal of a land rich in history and traditions.
In order to help our guests who decide to visit our area on a bike, our partner will provide for rent a full range of different bikes for any need and skill, from hybrid bikes to trekking bikes, up to the last generation of e-bikes provided with a Yamaha motor. The bikes are delivered for free to Il Vichiaccio Country House. Included in the rental cost is everything you need for a safe and pleasant trip , helmet, lock repair kit and a map of our land.
We are happy to help you planning routes across the hills of Chianti, which will allow you to enjoy winding roads as well as breathtaking landscapes or through the Chianti, entirely in off road routes good to combine the beauty of the famous Tuscan landscapes with the guide pleasure arriving as far as Siena and further on or up.

For light travellers: If you like travelling without the hassle of carrying around your luggage, but you still want to find all the necessary (and even the unnecessary, if you like 😉 ) when you get here, then don’t worry! You can ship your luggage to our place and we will put it in your room, ready for when you arrive. If you wish, we can even send it back on your behalf when your holiday is over!
For light travellers 2: Don’t want to bother about arriving in time to do the shopping and load a couple of six-packs on your bike? No problem!
Email us your shopping list. We’ll fill up your fridge and even let you find the beer at the right temperature.
